Welcome aboard! From 1942 until 1945 the sky over China was a Flying Tiger
sky. FlyingTigerSky.com honors the memory and service of the veterans of
the Flying Tigers and all other American Air Forces of the China Burma India
Theater during WWII. This period of cooperation between American and Asian
cultures still easily serves as a good example for both present and future
generations. Special consideration is given to a native son of our home state of
Louisiana, commander of the Flying Tigers and 14th Air Force, General Claire Lee
Chennault. A special thank you is extended to the Chennault family for
their time and support. Some photos here may have been previously
published but some are from the Chennault family's personal collection. Thank
you, and to all of our website visitors, thanks for traveling with us and enjoy
